S. Vaitheeswaran is an Alumnus from Regional Engineering College
(NIT), Trichy. He is the Group CEO of Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG). He oversees all the business verticals of the group. He has around 35 years of experience in the areas of Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations and Global Marketing. Vaithee was also the MD and CEO of Manipal Global Education Services P. Ltd. responsible for running and growing the company’s medical schools and multi-disciplinary universities in Antigua, Dubai, Malaysia and Nepal.
Before he joined Manipal Global, Vaithee served in Leadership positions in Infosys and in Eicher.
He is committed to Social projects and inclusive growth. He is a Trustee in SVRCC, a Community college that supports school drop outs from the weakest sections of the economy and helps them acquire vocational education and jobs. He is also a partner and an active member of Social Venture Partners (SVP).
Kusum Latha Pai is the Co-Founder and Managing Trustee of Ubuntu At Work Trust in India and is on the board of Ubuntu Inc., that has workspaces in the US, Bali and South Africa. A commerce graduate and a lawyer by qualification, Kusum's passion lies in fostering an ecosystem for the rural social entrepreneurs through a sustainable and pragmatic approach. She has extensive experience in various industries such as publishing, education, insurance, legal & audit. She had a legal practice of her own for 8 years and later worked with ING Life Insurance, Dorling Kindersley Publishers and Educomp Education among others. She is also an active partner at Social Venture Partners (SVP).
Indira Dave Additional Director – Spastics Society of Karnataka,. She has a MA in political science from Gauhati University and a Master of Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Science, Bombay and has been a fellow of the Dorabjee Tata Research fellowship on Family and Child Welfare.
She began her career at St Mary’s College, Shillong as a lecturer in Political Science and then as a teacher later on in the Naval Academy Base, INS Valsoora, in Jamnagar.
For the last 25 years she has been associated with the Spastics Society of Karnataka, Bangalore, she joined as a medico social worker in the centre of developmental disabilities. And now assumes of the role of the Additional Director of SSK.
SSK is an organisation which has been devoted to help children with developmental disabilities and caters to the needs of nearly 1500 children and their families in Bangalore and its outskirts.
She has been recognised by the National Centre of Cerebral Palsy with, The Vivekananda Award For Social Work Practices, this award was presented by Mother Teresa, in Bombay in 1992.
As a facilitator in promotion of employment of persons with disabilities she has had helped students in gaining employment, counselling their families and providing a medium of exchange of ideas and processes between the students and their families and their prospective employers.
